Destinations
Xtract Universal.iQ allows you to extract data from SAP systems and load it to different target environments (destinations).
About Destinations
Destinations are target environments where the results of service runs are written. By default, Xtract Universal.iQ services return SAP data in JSON format in the service response body. This is the HTTP-JSON destination. HTTP-JSON is the default destination and cannot be deleted.
Any other destinations must be set up in Xtract Universal.iQ before you can use them.
Which destinations are available to you depends on your license. You can find a list of available destinations in the License menu.
Supported Destinations
Xtract Universal.iQ supports the following destinations:
Edit Destinations
To modify an existing destination:
- Open the Connections menu.
- Select a destination.
- Click [ Edit]. The connection settings open.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click [Save].
The destination is updated. Services that use the destination are affected by the update.
Delete Destinations
To delete a destination that is not in use anymore:
- Open the Connections menu.
- Select one or more destinations.
- Click [...More > Delete]. A confirmation window opens.
- Click [OK] to delete the destination.
The destination is removed from the Connections menu. Services that still use the destination stop working.
Restrict Access to Destinations
You can set up access restrictions to a destination to ensure that the connection can only be modified by trained users. For more information, see Connection Level Access.
