System Requirements
This page contains a list of hardware and software requirements for the server that runs the Xtract Universal.iQ container.
Operating System
- Windows Server 2019 or later
- Linux with kernel 5.0 or later
Container Platform
Xtract Universal.iQ is deployed on container platforms, e.g., Docker and Kubernetes.
- Docker:
- Docker Engine 24.x or later
- Docker Compose v2.x or later
- Kubernetes 1.34 or later
Xtract Universal.iQ currently requires block storage for configuration files.
Not supported container platforms:
- Azure App Service supports network storage only and is not supported.
- AWS container platforms without block storage are also not supported.
- Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR) is not supported.
Container Ports
The Xtract Universal.iQ Designer uses the following default ports:

| 8075 | HTTP port for service endpoints when running Xtract Universal.iQ services. |
| 8076 | WebSocket (WS) port for communication between the Xtract Universal.iQ frontend and backend. |
| 8077 | HTTP port for the Xtract Universal.iQ Designer and the MCP server to access the web UI. |
| 8175 | HTTPS port for service endpoints when running Xtract Universal.iQ services via Transport Layer Security (TLS). |
| 8176 | Secure WebSocket (WSS) port for communication between the Xtract Universal.iQ frontend and backend via TLS. |
| 8177 | HTTPS port for the Xtract Universal.iQ Designer and the MCP server to access the web UI with authentication. |
You can map the default ports to new ports when creating the container or change the ports in the Xtract Universal.iQ Settings.
SAP Ports
The following ports to the SAP server must be open for communication:
