This page contains an overview and description of all available ODP OData settings.

Open the ODP OData Settings

To open the service settings of an existing ODP OData service:

  1. Open the Services menu
  2. Select a service of type ODP OData.
  3. Click [ Edit].

The settings of the ODP OData service open.

ODP OData

The ODP OData tab contains settings related to the source data in SAP.

Source

The Source section displays general information about the SAP OData service used in the ODP OData service.

Select Data Provider

Add a new SAP OData service to the ODP OData service. The ODP OData service type extracts data from the selected SAP OData service. For more information, see Look Up an OData Service.

Output Columns

The Output Columns section shows which data columns are included in the output of the service. You can select either all or only individual columns. By default all columns are selected and included in the output. Deselect the columns you want to remove from the output.

OData Subscription

The OData Subscription section contains settings for delta subscriptions.

Delta / Change Tracking

Activate this option to track changes in the SAP data source. For more information, see Subscriptions.

Filters

The Filters tab contains settings to filter the data provided by the OData Service, see Filers.

Service Settings

The Service Settings tab contains settings specific to the service type.

Package Size

The extracted data is split into packages of the defined size. The default package size is 14400000 bytes. When the package size is set to 0, SAP uses the default ODP packaging size.

Not using packaging can lead to an HTTP timeout for large data extractions.

Destination Settings

The Destination Settings tab contains settings specific to the destination assigned to the service.

The destination settings define how and where a service saves its output data. The settings vary depending on the destination.
