Connections

This page shows how to create and manage connections in the Enterprise Glossary. You can connect Enterprise Glossary to SAP systems, Microsoft Power BI and the Xtract Universal.iQ Designer to extract and update technical metadata. Enterprise Glossary supports connections to the following systems:

• SAP S/4HANA Connections
• Xtract Universal.iQ Designer

Edit Connections

To edit a connection in Enterprise Glossary:

1. Click the gear icon button () in the navigation bar, then select Connections. The "Connections" menu opens.
2. Find the connection you want to edit in the list of existing connections under Created Connections.
3. Click the pen icon button () in the Actions column of the connection. The connection settings open.
4. Make changes to the connections settings.
5. Click [Save] to save the changes and return to the "Connections" menu.

The connection settings have been updated.

Delete Connections

To delete a connection in Enterprise Glossary:

1. Click the gear icon button () in the navigation bar, then select Connections. The "Connections" menu opens.
2. Find the connection you want to delete in the list of existing connections under Created Connections.
3. Click the delete icon button () in the Actions column of the connection. A confirmation menu opens.
4. Click [Yes].

The connection and all related Entities are removed from Enterprise Glossary.
