Connections

This page shows how to create and manage connections in yunIO. Connections are required to connect services to SAP source systems and target environments (destinations).

SAP Connection

Creating an SAP connection is a prerequisite for using yunIO.

To connect yunIO with an SAP system, set up an SAP dialog user with sufficient access rights to SAP objects. For more information, see SAP Authorization Objects.

Destinations

yunIO provides HTTP-Json as a default destination. The HTTP destination returns data in the HTTP response of a service call. Additionaly, data can be written to an Amazon AWS S3 bucket using the Amazon S3 destination.

Edit a Connection

To modify an existing connection:

1. Navigate to the Connection menu at the left side navigation of the Designer.
2. Select a connection.
3. Click . The connection settings open.
4. Make the necessary changes.
5. Click [Save].

The connection is updated. Services that use the connection are affected by the update.

Delete Connections

To delete a connection that is not in use anymore:

1. Navigate to the Connection menu at the left side navigation of the Designer.
2. Select one or more connections.
3. Click . A confirmation window opens.
4. Click [OK] to delete the connection.

The connection is removed from the Connection menu. Services that still use the connection stop working.
